Second Impact Syndrome

Secondimpact syndrome (SIS) occurs when an athlete suffers a second concussion causing impact before symptoms from an earlier one have subsided. Without the appropriate diagnosis and management of the initial impact, exposure to both a severe or in many cases non-severe secondary impact, can result in SIS.

Our Advanced Impact Recognition System aims to eliminate this risk of concussion going undiagnosed by identifying and alerting the first significant impact to caregivers who may never have identified a concussion causing impact to the naked eye.
